Crystalline for Orchestra Bell Quintet
Crystalline is a quintet for orchestra bells written in early 2017 for five sixth grade percussionists at Pikeville Elementary School. The quintet is meant to challenge students to count and play contrasting phrases against what is around them – each part is of equal importance to the overall piece as the melody line is passed between each of the players. Frame of Reference
Originally written for a class at Morehead State, this piece is an electroacoustic piece featuring a prototype hybrid frame drum from Cooperman Fife and Drum Co.
Marimba Delay Sample
